Global Children's Privacy Notice

A parent or legal guardian owns the family account and remains in control of every child profile. Children cannot register independently.

1. Guardian consent and account control

• The family account is created with a verified parent email address.
• Before a child sends tutoring messages, images, or audio, the guardian must confirm their role, the child's age band, and country or region.
• The guardian can choose the Tutor language, curriculum, camera and microphone use, and paid plan.

2. What child information is used

We use a nickname, grade or age band, optional learning preferences, tutoring messages, problem photos, selected crops, voice transcripts, boards, course progress, grading results, and learning evidence needed to provide the requested features. We do not ask a child for an identity document, home address, or precise location.

Camera and microphone access requires browser permission. A child can continue with typed tutoring when those permissions are off. Photos or audio are processed only when the corresponding feature is used.

3. Service providers and locations

The GLOBAL service has its own data plane hosted on Tencent Cloud in Silicon Valley. Necessary feature data may be processed by the model, speech, real-time communications, email, and payment providers named in the Global Privacy Notice. During the temporary routing period, a tutoring request may use a model endpoint in Mainland China. We send only the content needed for the requested operation.

4. How information is used

Child information is used to provide tutoring, remember progress, generate guardian reports, operate safety controls, prevent abuse, and investigate service faults. We do not sell children's personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or let a child create a separate commercial account.

5. Retention, security, and guardian rights

We keep account, learning, consent, transaction, and security records only as long as needed for the service, legal duties, dispute resolution, and safety. We use HTTPS, access controls, isolated regional storage, and security logging. A guardian may request access, correction, export, deletion, or withdrawal of consent through in-product support. Withdrawal disables child-data features that require that consent.

6. Questions or unauthorized child use

If you believe a child profile was created without guardian authorization, or you have a privacy request, contact us through the family account support channel or the contact method shown on the purchase page. We may verify the requesting guardian before acting on a data request.
